rules
- You may request either a live cover with full mare care through birth of the foal (REQUIRED for Thoroughbreds) OR shipped semen for artificial insemination. If AI is performed, you agree that you will retain no copy of the Paragon Farm stallion, including saving coats for use on other horses. Conformation pictures of foals created through AI MUST be sent to Paragon Farm for approval before the foal is considered to exist. Coats MUST be edited to remove anomalies and represent a realistic cross of the two horses.
- Mares must be a registered breed compatible with the selected stallion. The resulting cross, if not pure-bred, MUST be eligible for a breed registry that we find satisfactory for the request to be considered. Horses that will solely eligible for certain breeds, such as American Warmblood, Grade and/or Color Associations, and certain sport horse crosses will not be accepted.
- Please note any specific restrictions on a stallion's profile before applying.
- All offspring of our stallions MUST retain our prefix, PF. The prefix of the mare's stable may be added after ours.
- Coats will be extensively edited to reflect a realistic genetic possibility. No foals will be sent out with abnormalities. If you prefer EA's wonky genetics, please look elsewhere for breeding. Conformation will not be edited.
- Once a horse leaves our facility, no aspect of its color or conformation may be edited. You may change mane/tail style only as well as add any applicable brands and/or preferred clips.
- You agree to create a profile for the foal with all basic information and at least one picture, and have this profile active within one month of purchase. Sending us a link to the foal's profile so we can update our stallions' offspring in their profiles is much appreciated.
- You agree to register the foal with at least one breed registry within one month, excepting inactive registries.
- Failure to adhere to the above rules will prevent you from entering any future contracts with Paragon Farm (breedings, sales, etc) until all problems have been resolved.
